I was pleasantly surprised to find this site. My wife and I travel to her hometown of Sao Paulo every year to visit her family. Next time we go, I'm going to try to attend some Liga Paulista games. Way to go, Andy! I am one of the founders of the São José Wild Eagles, a team that participates in the Liga Paulista. I loved the idea of an english written blog. This will for sure help the brazilian baseball develop. I am avaiable to help if needed, and I will see if there is a possibility to create an english version of the LIga Paulista's site. Participating team this year are Cariocas, Latinos, Rio Nikkey Cats, CS Rookies (all from Rio) and Novo Friburgo. There's also teams or initiatives in Itaguaí (participant in state championship 2005-2009), Tinguá, Papucaia, Araribóias de Niteroí, Funchal, Forte de Santa Cruz, and Pirenema. The website for the state championship is no longer up.
